Detailed By Lewis is a mobile car detailing business based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. We are responsible for the details you send us.

What we collect

When you send the contact form, we get:

• your name, email address and phone number
• your town or postcode
• the package and car type you choose, and the message you type

When you call, send a WhatsApp message or email us, we get what you send us.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to you, to give you a price and to do the job. We do not sell your details. We do not send you marketing.

The law lets us do this because you asked us for a price or a job (steps before a contract, and the contract). For our business records, we use our legitimate interests (a fair business need).

Who else sees it

We use these services to run the site:

• EmailJS sends the contact form to our email inbox.
• Google runs our email inbox. Google Fonts also sends the text fonts, and Google gets your IP address (your internet address) when the fonts load.
• jsDelivr sends the code that the contact form uses, when you send the form. It gets your IP address.
• Our website host keeps basic visit logs, which include your IP address.

Some of these services can keep data outside the UK. They use legal safeguards to do this.

How long we keep it

If you do not book a job, we delete your enquiry after 2 years. If you book a job, we keep your details and the job records for 6 years, for our tax records.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file that a website puts in your browser. This site does not set cookies. It does not use analytics.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of your details
• correct your details
• delete your details
• stop using your details
